Double E Engineering Sales, Inc. was founded by Bill Wood and Bill Ecton in 1983. Both owners were Professional Engineers in the field of Electrical Engineering. Bill Wood gave up a career with Bechtel and Bill Ecton gave up a career with Brown & Root to begin a new career in technical sales. They both made great sacrifices and took huge risks in starting their new company at a time where the O&G business in Houston was reaching new historical lows. Through hard work, perseverance, uncompromising ethical standards, & extreme dedication, they helped build an unparalleled reputation as a Manufacturer’s Representative organization in the electrical industry.
