Matt Wood
President
Matt is the President of Double E Engineering Sales, Inc. Matt came to Double E in 1998 and worked as an application salesman until 2001 when he then added to his responsibilities by acquiring ownership in the business. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Sam Houston State University. In addition to his management duties, Matt continues to remain very active in sales for the company. Matt is a Senior member of IEEE and is the Delegate Member for our firm with the Electrical Equipment Representatives Association (EERA).
Riley Rucker
Inside Sales Support Specialist
Riley rejoined Double E in 2012 after taking a hiatus to raise her three boys. Riley provides inside sales support to the Double E Sales staff and is often the first point of contact for our customers. In addition to providing quotations, submitting orders and expediting, she is dedicated to providing excellent service to our valued customers.
Hollis Venable
Technical sales
Hollis Venable is our technical sales representative for the Eastern Louisiana territory covering the Baton Rouge/New Orleans markets as well as central and northeast Louisiana. He has extensive experience in fostering organizational growth across diverse industrial and utility markets over the last 28 years. Most recently as a Field Service Sales Representative at Dashiell Corporation, Hollis directed sales strategy across the Baton Rouge/New Orleans/MS Gulf coast territory, securing high voltage electrical substation maintenance contracts and managing a team of 8 technicians. Hollis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Insurance, Risk Management, and Financial Services from the University of Mississippi and served in the United States Air Force Reserves. He is married with 3 children and resides in Baton Rouge, LA.
Justin Comer
Sales Application Engineer
Justin joined Double E in 2026 and serves customers in North and West Texas. Justin graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Electronic Systems Engineering Technology. He has experience in the protection and control engineering field, and has had field experience as a Protection and Control Technician for a major utility in North Texas. Justin most recently worked for a manufacturer in the grid automation industry, supporting protection and control relays and technical solutions as an Application Engineer. This blend of field experience and application engineering will allow him to assist our customers in navigating the products and solutions we offer. Justin is a member of IEEE.
Margaret Coco
CFO
Margaret joined Double E in the 80’s and worked all inside staff positions before settling in as our Office Administrator handling commission, collections and human resource management. Her knowledge of the business and dedication to the company led to an expansion of her duties as Principal/CFO in 2001. She is a graduate of Spencer College of Business with a degree in Accounting, holds a ParaLegal Certificate and CPP License.
Ed Pando
Sales Application Engineer
Ed has been with Double E since 2005. Ed has account responsibility for many of our key end user clients in addition to strategic OEMs, consultants, & others. Ed is a graduate from The University of Houston where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. Ed has a proven track record of dedication and loyalty to the customers which he serves. Ed’s field experience working with various electrical equipment from 480v-345kv gives him a unique understanding of customers needs and challenges. The past field experience allows him to apply practical knowledge to the design of electrical equipment we supply.
Cory Grayson
TECHNICAL SALES
Cory joined Double E in 2024 as a Technical Sales Representative covering the Greater Houston area. He is a dedicated technical sales professional who values continuous improvement and quality service. Cory has 10 years of experience in the electric power industry as a Commercial Electrician, Industrial Field Services Technician, and Industrial Field Services Estimator. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial
Distribution. His comprehensive experience has led him to successfully provide sales consulting, estimating, project management, and procurement services to clients on projects ranging from 480V – 345kV.
John Stadler
Sales Application Engineer
John began with our company in 2009. He graduated from the University of Texas in Dallas in 2006 where he received a BS in Electrical Engineering. John remains very active in our industry and with the IEEE Houston CED program as vice chairman. He is a member of IEEE. John serves many key industrial customers in the greater Houston and Pasadena area.
Carl Vitanza
Sales Application Engineer
Carl joined our team as a Sales Application Engineer in February 2015 covering key EPC’s, OEM’s, & End Users in Houston and SE Texas. Carl brings over 30 years of experience in Manufacturing, Project Management, Engineering, & Commissioning of electrical equipment to our company. His unique background positions him perfectly to assist our customers with the application of the products we sell. Carl holds a BSEE degree from The University of Houston, is a registered Master Electrician in the State of Texas and hold memberships in several professional organizations including IEEE, IAEI, NFPA.
Jennifer Davis
Technical Sales
Jennifer joined Double E in 2018, and fills our technical sales role covering the Central and South Texas regional territories. She is a dedicated sales professional with over 10 years’ experience in the oil & gas sector where she has succeeded in new business development, operations and project management, and brand marketing. A graduate of Sam Houston State University, Jennifer holds a BA in Journalism and Business. She brings with her a natural ability to connect and cultivate relationships along with a drive for excellent customer service that is a welcome addition to our team.
